Rail Statistics for Ireland – June 2014 16th June 2014

The National Transport Authority today (June 16, 2014) published its latest Bulletin on Rail Statistics for Ireland, which focuses on passenger statistics in respect of heavy rail services provided by Iarnród Éireann (Irish Rail) and Luas light rail services provided by the Railway Procurement Agency (RPA).
The information in the Bulletin is drawn from operational reporting information provided by Iarnród Éireann under its Public Service Obligation (PSO) contract with the Authority and by the RPA who are carrying out assigned functions for the Authority. The data shows trends from 2010 to 2013, in the main.
