If Cork is going to Glow, Limerick is going to Sparkle this festive season! Limerick comes alive at Christmas with a full calendar of activities, culinary experiences and opportunities. All events listed below (with the exception of the UCH Jack and the Beanstalk, which is served by bus routes 304, 307 and 308) are going to be at locations where the Limerick City Bike scheme will have its new stations – This means that anyone using Bus Eireann’s public bus service to get into the city centre can then hop on one of the Coke Zero Rental Bikes and get straight to their destination hassle free.

The bikes will be launched in Limerick on the 8th of December and you can register here. 

Limerick on Ice celebrating its 11th year this Chrismas, is open once again for a seasons fun and excitement at Arthurs Quay, right in the heart of Limerick City.

Limerick Panto Society presents Cinderella from Saturday 27th December to Sunday 4th of January at the Lime Tree Theatre, Mary Immaculate College, Courtback Avenue, Limerick.

Christmas Markets at Limerick’s Milk Market attracts thousands of visitors each year. You’ll find unique gifts for under the tree and delicious food at the Milk Market’s stalls and shops.

Free Christmas Park and Ride in Limerick

Limerick City and County Council has announced that a FREE Christmas Park & Ride service will begin from Saturday, 6th December providing a convenient transport alternative for shoppers during the busy Christmas season. The pilot scheme, which will be operated by Bus Eireann on behalf of the local authority, will provide a free Park & Ride service from the Greyhound Stadium on the Dock Road where up to 400 car parking spaces are available within a short bus ride of the city centre. A shuttle bus service to and from a special Park & Ride bus stop on Lower Cecil Street will operate every 15 minutes in each direction. The service will operate from 10am to 7pm daily from Saturday 6th December to Wednesday 24th December. Read more
