The pedometer is attached to your clothes by a clasp, and it also has a small hole if you'd like to use a piece of string to further secure it to a belt.

Instructions

How does a pedometer work?

When worn properly, your pedometer records your steps by counting each time your hip moves up and down, using a pendulum.

My pedometer rattles. Does that mean it’s broken?

The rattling sound you hear is the pendulum which moves when you move. Try not to shake your pedometer or it will alter your step count.

Where’s the best place to wear my pedometer?

Your pedometer should be worn in an upright position. If it leans in any direction, it may register an incorrect number of steps. The best position is on a belt at the hip. Make sure that your pedometer is secure so you don’t lose it!

Is my pedometer waterproof?

No, remember to take it off if you’re swimming.

Should I wear my pedometer every day?

Yes – to track your steps and progress accurately, wear your pedometer every day.

Will my pedometer work if I run?

Your pedometer works whether you are running, walking or climbing the stairs, but remember it is just counting the amount of steps you take and not the intensity of those steps.

My pedometer isn’t working, what do I do?

If your pedometer has stopped working, please contact your company coordinator for a replacement if the pedometer is faulty. You will not be charged for the replacement. If you have ‘lost’ steps, you can use the step count from a previous similar day or walk instead.

I’ve lost my pedometer counter, where do I get another?

You will need to pay for a new pedometer here and give the PayPal receipt to your company coordinator to get a replacement pedometer.
